- Rare-Event and Enhanced Sampling: Metadynamics, Umbrella Sampling, Forward Flux Sampling, and Predict-Correct Trajectory Propagation.
- Machine-Learning-Based Modeling: Neural Networks, Support Vector Machines, Decision Trees, Principal Component Analysis, and K-means Clustering.
- Mechanical Behavior at Interfaces: Nanotribology, Friction, Wear, Lubrication, Confined-Fluid Squeezing and Shearing, Hydration Forces, and Surface Interactions, especially in Surface Force Apparatus (SFA) and Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM).
